The 114SD is tough enough to take on whatever the job throws at it. 114-inch BBC cab dimension and contoured hood slope provides superior job site visibility. And the tight turning radius-with an up to 45-degree wheel cut-provides optimal maneuverability in tight job site spaces.

With more maneuverability, key weight-saving components and spec flexibility, the 114SD severe duty mixer platform is ready to roll on the most demanding jobs.

POWER TO DO THE JOB

The 114SD comes equipped with the Detroit Diesel DD13® engine with BlueTec® emissions technology and 350 HP with 1,350 lb-ft of torque at low RPM for a strong bottom end and launching power to handle all your severe-duty hauling needs. Optional power choices include the Detroit Diesel DD13 with up to 450 HP and 1,650 lb-ft torque, Cummins ISL* with up to 380 HP and 1,300 lb-ft torque, and the Cummins ISC* with up to 350 HP and 1,000 lb-ft torque.

*Cummins-powered offerings available October 2011.

And the BlueTec® emissions technology saves you time and money by eliminating the need for parked regeneration in most mixer applications. In fact, a typical mixer operation may never need to do another parked regeneration, saving fuel and puts reducing risk to perishable loads.



Packaged under the cab is the all-important under step Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) after treatment system, and up to 70 gallon fuel tank with six-gallon DEF tank to maximize your front-axle loading and provide a clear chassis-mounting envelope for lift axles and ancillary body equipment. Front engine, rear engine and transmission power take off options allow hydraulic packaging to suit your specific application.

And the optimized body up-fit for mid-chassis packaging, with the strategically mounted after treatment system makes your workload easier than ever. So whatever the job, this Freightliner Severe Duty vocational model is ready to roll.
